The Happy Faces Charitable Trust, commonly called Faces, is a non-profit organization. The Gibraltar Charities Commission in January 2008 established this charity. The main aim of this trust is to help the young adults and children of Gibraltar who are suffering from debilitating and chronic diseases.
Due to the chronic illnesses, the affected children and young people had to lead a miserable life. Without proper treatment, it was becoming difficult to survive. Most of the money earned was being used up for the treatment of the chronic illness. The Happy Faces Charitable Trust was aware of this problem and decided to give chronic illness support to the affected people. FLIP or Future Leaders In Philanthropy also offered to support Happy Faces Charitable Trust to provide chronic illness support.
FLIP successfully organized a corporate fundraising quiz night to collect money for Happy Faces Charitable Trust, which in turn provided total chronic illness support to the needy. The Corporate fundraising quiz was held on February 25, 2010 at the Savannah Lounge Ocean Village, and over 150 people attended this fantastic quiz competition. The organizers of the quiz ensured that the quiz competition happened in a smooth manner. There were 14 Gibraltar-based companies that were battling for the title of Faces Brainiest Bunch 2010. A FLIP student named Dhiraj Nagrani had organized this corporate quiz event.
The quiz event started off with an emotional speech given by Stefan Olivero, and it was accompanied by an incredible display by the 1st/4th Gibraltar Scout Group Corps of Drums.
